Professional Background

Evelin Freytas received her bachelor's degree in International Business from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her MBA in Chicago. In addition, she studied Finance and International Business in Granada, Spain and at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong, China.

After graduating, Evelin began her career as a District Manager of Automatic Data Processing Payroll Services (ADP), in which she designed payroll and HR solutions specifically for the needs of small businesses. She began her financial career as an agent with New York Life in 2009. While with New York Life she won various awards, including the prestigious Community Impact Agent of the Year Award for the Chicago North Shore General Office.

As the founder and President of Mastermind Wealth Strategies, LLC, her focus is to better serve her clients and community. She is also authorized to offer products to AARP members through New York Life and can offer products from a variety of leading companies to help clients find the right fit for their financial and insurance needs. Her team helps clients to determine what they would like to achieve financially and then map out a strategy that will help them meet those goals. Her team currently serves clients in Illinois, Florida, Arizona, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Nevada, Virginia, California, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Wisconsin. In a very challenging career field, she has been able to accomplish the prestigious induction to the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)* in 2020.
